Elie Saab, a self-taught fashion talent, has long been loved for his creative eye for dressmaking, at which he began at a ripe age of nine years old. Opening his first Couture atelier in Beruit in 1982, it wasn’t long after that that he presented his first show at the Casino du Liban, where the young women in the audience instantly fell in love with the refined and feminine Elie Saab dresses. Soon thereafter, the world heard of the young gifted designer in-turn resulting in an on pouring of high society clientele. Elie Saab opened his world of design to ready-to-wear and accessories in 1998, showing for the first time in Milan.
